Chicago police seek help in search for missing 11-year-old girl

CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing young girl from the West Side.

Police say Jamara Dockery, 11, went missing from her home on Saturday on the 4700 block of West Gladys in the city’s West Garfield Park neighborhood.

Dockery is described as African-American, 5 feet tall, 98 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, white shirt, orange sweater, blue jeans and orange sneakers.

Police are asking that anyone with information on the girl’s whereabouts contact the Area North Special Victims unit at 312-744-8261.
