Two men killed, third injured in shooting at South Side party

CHICAGO –   Two men were shot to death and another man was wounded in a shooting at a birthday party on the South Side.

Police say at about 11:20 p.m. Friday, a man was turned away from the party, which was in a garage at a home in the 7400 block of South Eggleston Avenue in Englewood.   The man reportedly returned to the home and opened fire.

A 32-year-old man was shot in the chest and died at the scene.

A 35-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to his torso and was taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A 45-year-old man was shot in the left hip and taken to Stroger Hospital.

The victims’ names have not been released.

Police say no one is in custody.
