CHICAGO — A Chicago bar is banning people with tattoos links to gangs.

The Crocodile Bar, located at 1540 N Milwaukee Ave in the city’s Wicker Park neighborhood, is turning away people with neck and eye tattoos associated with gangs — such as teardrops and gang signs.

People with swastika tattoos are also banned.

The bar’s owner says it’s a security issue and an effort to keep their customers safe.

An American Civil Liberties Union spokesman says it’s not clear if the tattoo ban violates any laws.
