Chicago police scanner conversation interrupted by racist rant

CHICAGO -- Someone broke in on a Chicago police scanner conversation and used a racial slur -- again.

The latest incident happened Tuesday afternoon, as officers discussed an encounter with an African American man. That's when someone listening in on the conversation broke in.

The uninvited guest yelled, “Shoot the god**** n***** and get it over with.”

It's happened before, on March 14 and again March 21.

In at least one case, the man made disparaging remarks about Black Lives Matter.

The offender could face hate-crime charges if he's caught.
