NHL releases schedule for Blackhawks and Blues 1st round Stanley Cup Playoffs series

The Blackhawks and Blues will meet in the 1st round of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

CHICAGO – With most of the drama in their immediate playoff future gone, all that was left was for Blackhawks fans was to find out when their Stanley Cup defense would officially being.

Already the team knew they would face the Blues in the first round and would have to start the playoffs in St. Louis. On Sunday night, the NHL announced exactly when that’s going to happen.

On Sunday the schedule was released for the first round series with the Blackhawks starting up against the Blues Wednesday night at 8:30 PM at the Scottrade Center.

Here are the dates and times for the Blackhawks and the Blues as they meet in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs.

Game 1 – Wednesday, April 13th – at St. Louis – 8:30 PM

Game 2 – Friday, April 15th  – at St. Louis – 7 PM

Game 3 – Sunday, April 17th – at Chicago – 2 PM

Game 4 – Tuesday, April 19th – at Chicago – 8:30 PM

Game 5 – Thursday, April 21st – at St. Louis – TBD (If Necessary)

Game 6 – Saturday, April 23rd – Chicago – TBD (If Necessary)

Game 7 – Monday, April 25th – at St. Louis – TBD (If Necessary)
