CHICAGO -- Natalie Moore is the South Side bureau reporter for WBEZ, Chicago's NPR station.

In growing up in Chicago and covering many of its neighborhoods, she took notice of something that's pretty obvious: The city is very segregated.

In her new book called "South Side," Natalie explores how that separateness has affected the people living in certain neighborhoods, in their housing, education and everyday lives.

She joined WGN Morning News Wednesday to discuss her book and career covering Chicago's South Side.
