Meet Shirley Webb. She's a 78-year-old woman who lives near St. Louis and can deadlift 225, several times.

She set a new state record for her class at a weight-lifting competition in downstate Belleville. Interestingly enough, Webb didn't take up the sport until the ripe age of 76.

Webb hopes to set a national record for deadlifting in June, which should be obtainable, since there isn't a national record in her age group.

WGN Morning News had a Skype interview with Webb on Wednesday about how she discovered her new-found talent. Check it out in the player above.
