PALOS VERDES, Calif. -- Doctors can't explain how a girl in California was paralyzed doing a backbend.

It happened in December while 5-year-old Eden was playing at home.

Her mother say Eden started complaining that her legs, back and hip were hurting.

Soon, her feet went numb and Eden couldn't walk.

She was rushed to the hospital where an MRI found a contusion on her spine.

She spent more than a month in the hospital and rehabilitation center.

Eden's parents are now taking her to specialists and hope she will walk again.
