INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- A teenage ballerina who lost part of her leg to cancer is now dancing en pointe again.

14-year old Gabi Schull was diagnosed with cancer when she was nine.

In a rare surgery doctors removed her right knee and replaced it with her ankle.

That allowed her to move the prosthetic and dance again but she also wanted to return to ballet.

So her doctor created a special prosthetic.

Video of Gabi trying out the new prosthetic foot for the first time went viral.
