LEABURG, Ore. — A man in Oregon is expected to survive after being pulled into a working wood chipper.

Rescue officials said the man is an arborist and his harness got stuck in tree limbs that were fed into the chipper.

He got pulled into the machine, but his leg tripped the safety bar at the last second and shut the chipper off.

Officials said his head was just inches away from the chipper's blades.

The man broke his leg and suffered a head injury.
