Chicago police warn of SW Side break-ins

Chicago police are warning people about a string of burglaries in two Southwest Side neighborhoods.

Police say there have been three break-ins at apartment buildings near 104th and Hale in the Beverly neighborhood.

They say burglars used pry tools to force open front doors and steal items from apartments.

The break-ins happened on Jan. 29th and Feb. 12th.

In nearby Morgan Park, three cars were burglarized in the parking lot of Marshfield Plaza.

Thieves also used pry bars to get into the cars.

Those burglaries happened on Feb. 6th and 11th.
