CHICAGO - It's now a matter of days instead of weeks for Windy City baseball fans.
By this time next week most of the Cubs and White Sox will be in Arizona ready to kickoff the 2016 season with Spring training.
For the North Side team the expectations couldn't be any higher. A run to the NLCS last season along with key additions to the roster has them a favorite for the first time in nearly a decade.
As for the South Siders, their are fewer biggest offseason splashes this season as fans wonder if this roster can put up a fight against a talented AL Central.
Phil Rogers of MLB.com will be watching both teams closely during spring training and the rest of the 2016 season. He came on Sports Feed on Thursday to discuss both teams with Josh Frydman as they head for Cactus League play.
