BLOOMINGDALE, Ill.-- Two people were shot in west suburban Bloomingdale Friday evening. Neighbors say they heard a woman screaming and then they heard the gunshots.

The shooting happened in a house in the 300 block of Norton Lane in Bloomingdale around 5:00 p.m.

Neighbors say this was a murder-suicide, a husband who killed his wife and then took his own life. But police are not ready to confirm that.

The Bloomingdale police chief does tell us that investigators discovered a woman's body in the garage and a man was also found dead in the house.

Chief Frank Giammarese, Bloomingdale Police Department, said "It appears at this point, it is domestic-related, contained to that crime scene. We are not actively searching for any suspects at this time."

No names or ages have been released at this point.

Bloomingdale police are still working the crime scene, again saying they are not looking for any suspects.
