The chemicals used to make pizza boxes can cause cancer, and scientists have known it for more than a decade.

Specifically, three chemicals that keep the oil from soaking through the box have been found to be toxic to humans.

The FDA is now moving to ban those chemicals; they’re also found in microwave popcorn bags.
