Man shot, drives to Chicago police station for help

CHICAGO -- A man was shot and walked into a police station for help.

The shooting happened at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 4400 block of West Monroe.

The man said he was standing near his car when someone shot in his direction.

He was hit in his torso and arm.

He then drove himself to the 11th District Police Station near Harrison and Kedzie.

The man was taken to the hospital.

Police are investigating.
