CHICAGO — New surveillance video shows a dog being choked and dragged to death at the city's Animal Care and Control Department.

The Better Government Association released the video after a year and a half long legal battle.

The owner brought the dog to the pound in March 2014.

The video shows employees fighting with the dog and then dragging it down the hall by the neck.

Mayor Emanuel said he is looking for a new director for Animal Care and Control.
