COLUMBIA, S.C. — A 4-year-old in South Carolina had a very unusual request for Santa Claus this Christmas. He asked for prayers to help heal a baby that he doesn’t even know.

According to WIS-TV, little Prestyn Barnette heard about Baby Knox from a prayer group that his grandmother belongs to on Facebook.

Baby Knox is two months old, lives in Las Vegas and is on life support. Knox’s family sent out a request for prayers on Facebook at the end of November after he was found unresponsive in his crib. Knox remains hospitalized in Las Vegas.

So, when Prestyn met with Santa at a local mall, he told him he wanted a Lionel train set and a miracle for Baby Knox. A powerful photo of the two of Prestyn and Santa is being shared by thousands across social media.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family since Knox’s father is currently taking unpaid-leave.
