Semi crash, fire closes WB I-80/94 in Gary
GARY, Ind. — All westbound lanes of the Borman Expressway were shut down near Gary in northwest Indiana after a semi-truck crashed and caught on fire early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at about 1 a.m. Tuesday when a semi pulling a box trailer was westbound on I-80/94 at the 7.9-mile marker in the right lane when for unknown reasons the semi went off the roadway.
