INDIANAPOLIS - Champion eater Joey Chestnut broke his own wold record in Indianapolis on Saturday.

Chestnut once again won the St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail-Eating Championship.

Chestnut downed 12.25 pounds of shrimp cocktail in just eight minutes.

That beat the record he set last year of 10.42 pounds.

"The first year, I was in shock. Last year, I got a little better. And, I was able to improve this year. I actually really like the taste. It's one of the healthiest contests I do all year," said Chestnut.

Miki Sudo came in second place, eating 7.42 pounds.
