CHICAGO -- Mayor Emanuel is responding to a growing chorus of calls for him to step down.

A group of community activists says another Black Friday type protest is coming to Chicago if Emanuel doesn't leave office.

But the mayor says he will not bend to the pressure.

In that politico interview, the mayor also acknowledged he made "mistakes" in the Laquan McDonald case.

He hinted that perhaps he should have released the dash-cam video sooner.

However, he rejects calls by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan for a federal investigation into the Chicago Police Department.
