Four wounded in Lawndale shooting

CHICAGO -- Authorities say four people were shot in the city's Lawndale neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

According to police the shooting occurred at around 1:30 p.m. near Roosevelt Road and Keeler Avenue.

According to police two men, ages 22 and 21, were transported to Stroger Hospital in serious condition with wounds to their legs. A 45-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were transported to Mt. Sinai hospital.

Police say all the victims suffered gunshot wounds to the lower portions of their bodies.

Police are still searching for the shooter. Authorities say all the male victims are documented gang members.
