Police chase leads to arrest of four men in Elmhurst

CHICAGO – A police chase overnight on I-290 led to the arrest of four men.

It began just after 11:00 last night.  Chicago police say shots fired from a vehicle on the 3800 block of W. Madison.

They pursued the car westbound on I-290, but lost sight of the vehicle.

State police tracked the vehicle in Elmhurst.  When the car stopped, four men got out and ran off.  State and Elmhurst police caught them and arrested them.  The men were turned over to Chicago police.

It turns out the vehicle was stolen.  Police recovered two weapons from the car.  No one was hurt in the incident.

Charges are pending.
