PARIS — The prime minister of France took to Twitter Saturday to offer a strict warning to the people responsible for the deadly attacks on Paris.

“We are at war. We therefore take exceptional measures. And this war, we will win,” wrote French Prime Minister Manuel Valls in reaction to a series of terror attacks that left at least 129 dead and hundreds injured.

Valls added in a follow-up Tweet, “I understand that the French can be afraid, but we must be strong and deal with our values.”

Among the dead in the attacks is a U.S. college student, and 99 of those injured are believed to be in critical condition.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the killings.

Belgium says it has made multiple arrests in connections with the attacks.
