CPS students ‘safe’ after Paris attacks

CHICAGO – Chicago Public Schools officials said all the students and staff visiting Paris are “safe” this morning.

Two groups of CPS students are on trips to France.

Twenty-two students and five teachers from the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences arrived in Paris yesterday for an exchange program.

The school’s principal tells us that all of the students and teachers are safe.

A group of elementary school students and staff from Lincoln Elementary in Lincoln Park are also visiting Paris.

School officials are working with authorities to make sure that all CPS students remain safe.
