BUFFALO, NY -- The woman who has accused Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane of rape no longer wants to cooperate with the investigation, according to The Buffalo News.
The woman told authorities that the high-profile investigation has caused stress for her and her family and that she no longer wishes to take part in it.
She has since signed a document declining prosecution which is now under consideration.
Sources also tell the Buffalo News that the prosecutor decided to not take the case to the grand jury, saying there wasn't enough evidence. It looks like it could be a matter of days before the alleged rape case against Kane is dropped.
