FOX LAKE– Fox Lake police say they plan to release significant new information about the death of police lieutenant Joe Gliniewicz.

The department has called a press conference for Wednesday morning.

The lieutenant was found shot to death last September.  He radioed he was chasing three suspects.

Police have not found any suspects.

Officers say Gliniewicz was shot twice with his own gun, but they have refused to release many other details two months after the deadly shooting.
