CHICAGO — CTA Blue Line trains are operating with residual delays after an earlier medical emergency on the tracks at Clark and Lake.

At about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, a CTA spokesman said an unauthorized person was located on the tracks. Power was turned off in both directions so emergency crews could respond.

Chicago police identified the person as a 65-year-old male. He was taken to Northwestern in critical condition.

Witnesses say the man jumped in front of the train.
