Bill Murray dropped in on Jimmy Kimmel’s show to plug his new movie “Rock the Kasbah,” and he talked about his beloved Cubs losing their first two playoff games to the Mets.

“I believe in the words of the song, that you root, root, root for the home team and if they don’t win it’s a shame,” Murray said while donning what appeared to be Shakespearean clown garb and full white makeup.

Kimmel, who attended a NLCS game with Murray over the weekend, said the actor tried to help his Cubs win by touching the Cubs’ lineup card.

“Not only did you touch it, you rubbed it all over your body. Do you think that is why the Cubs lost last night?” Kimmel said.
