1 dead, 2 injured in small plane crash in Florida

SEVILLE, Fla. — One person has died and two others were injured when a small plane crashed in central Florida.

Volusia County Sheriff’s officials say passenger Jeffrey Luong, 27 of Port Orange, was pronounced dead at the scene in the city of Seville on Saturday. But the pilot of the small Cessna and another passenger were airlifted to the hospital. Their conditions were not known.

The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified. No other details were released.
