2015 NLDS schedule: Cubs-Cardinals meet in postseason for first time

CHICAGO -- The Cubs are advancing in the playoffs. They beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 4-0, in the National League wild card game.

Jake Arrieta pitched a complete game, with eleven strikeouts.

Cubs fans celebrated outside Wrigley Field Wednesday night, and well into Thursday morning.

Police shut down the corner of clark and addison where thousands held an impromptu party in the streets.

Next up, the St. Louis Cardinals in the best of five divisional series.

Here's the National League Division Series schedule:

Game 1 is Friday, Oct. 9 at 5:30 p.m. in St. Louis at Busch Stadium.

Game 2 is Saturday, Oct. 10 at 4:30 p.m., also in St. Louis.

Game 3 brings the series to Wrigley Field on Monday, Oct. 12. The time has not yet been announced.

If a Game 4 is needed, that game will also be at The Friendly Confines on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

If a Game 5 is needed, it will played on Thursday, Oct. 15   at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

This is the first time the long-time rivals will meet in the postseason.
