Glendale Heights elementary school evacuated due to bomb threat

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill. –Americana Elementary School in Glendale Heights has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Police in Glendale Heights say the bomb threat was called into the school, located at 1629 President Street.

The students have been transferred across the street with teachers to Glendale Lakes Golf Course, according to the district office.

Americana School is part of Queen Bee Schools District 16.
