CHICAGO -- Three people died and two others were injured in a shooting in the city’s Fuller Park neighborhood.

The shooting happened just after midnight Tuesday in the 300-block of West 42nd Street.

A 22-year-old woman and two men, ages 25 and 30, were killed.

Another woman was shot in the leg and is hospitalized. Another man was also shot.

The victims were all standing on the sidewalk when two men fired shots from a nearby alley.

The sister of one victim tells WGN that relatives had just honored the birthday of a cousin who was killed in a car accident in 2003.
