Woman hit by stray bullet in her East Garfield Park home

CHICAGO — A woman was hit in the leg by a stray bullet that came through the window of her home in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

It happened just before 3 a.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of West Monroe Street.

The 64-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
