MILLBRAE, Calif. — Forgot lucky pennies; one man found a lucky $20.

According to multiple reports a California bartender won $1 million after he bought the winning ticket with money he had found on the street.

Hubert Tang said he found a $20 bill near the San Francisco airport, and he used it to buy two California lottery tickets in Millbrae, Calif.

Tang was shocked at first when a scratch ticket revealed the $1-million prize.

“I told my friend who I was with that I didn’t know if this was real but, ‘I think I just won a million dollars,’” he recounted to the San Francisco Chronicle.

He added that he hadn’t bought a lottery ticket in a decade.

Tang said he will put most of the money in savings.

Meanwhile the store at which he bought the winning ticket, Andrea’s Market in Millbrae,  will receive a $5,000 bonus.
