Police seek help in search for missing teen girl

CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a teen girl who went missing last week.

Jessica Diaz, 17, went missing Aug. 15, according to police. Diaz was last seen in the vicinity of 3500 E. 107th St. and was wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and black shoes. She was also seen  carrying a light brown purse with black straps.

Diaz is described as 5 feet 3 inches, about 150 pounds, Hispanic, with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information of her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
