ROWLETT, Texas --  There is a Texas-sized spider web about 20 miles northwest of Dallas.

People passing by Lakeside Park South are stopping to look at the web.

It spans across trees and bushes for a quarter-mile.

A manager of the park says it was spun by a group of long-jawed spiders.

The species is not dangerous to humans but there are a lot of flies and mosquitoes stuck in the nest.
