A galaxy far, far away will soon be closer than you think.

Disney announced it will add Star Wars-themed parks to both Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California.

Disney president and CEO Bob Iger says each park will span 14 acres, making them the company's largest single-themed expansions ever.

The parks will feature rides on the Millennium Falcon, a visit to the famous cantina, and appearances from all of the Star Wars characters.

"Nothing in the land will be out of character," Iger said. "Guests will truly become part of a Star Wars story. It's going to be a whole new level, a whole new galaxy."

The company has not announced when the new parks will open.
