CHICAGO — On Saturday, businessman Bill Rancic parachuted with the Army Golden Knights at the 57th annual Chicago Air & Water Show.

After the jump, the Chicago native posted a photo of himself with his family to Instagram and Facebook saying:

“Thank you to the Army Golden Knights for taking me up today at the #chicagoairandwatershow. Praying for the two soldiers who jumped after me and were injured. Please pray for them and their families.”

A performer with the Army Golden Knights and a performer with the Navy Leap Frogs, were injured during Saturday’s show. The Golden Knights performer had to undergo surgery at Northwestern Hospital to relieve pressure on his brain. The Leap Frog performer suffered a broken leg and is also at Northwestern Hospital.

Neither group performed at Sunday’s Air & Water Show.

Rancic was the first candidate hired by The Trump Organization at the end of the first season of Donald Trump’s reality television show, “The Apprentice.” His wife, Giuliana Rancic, is a former E! News co-anchor. The couple now lives in Chicago with their young son Duke, and they co-own two local restaurants: RPM Italian and RPM Steak
