Report offers new details, allegations in Patrick Kane investigation

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A report out of Buffalo is offering new details about the alleged incident involving Blackhawks star Patrick Kane.

The Buffalo News reports the woman who accused Kane of sexually assaulting her had bite marks on her shoulders and a scratch on her leg after the alleged attack.

The woman reportedly said she and a female friend met Kane at a popular nightclub called SkyBar. He later invited them both to his home for a private party.

Sources tell the newspaper the woman accuses Kane of following her into a room at his home, then overpowering her and raping her.

Police have confirmed only that they are conducting an investigation.

Kane has not been charged.

Blackhawks owner Rocky Wirtz expressed disappointment today over the police investigation, but said he remained “hopeful” about the situation.
