FRANKFORT, Ill. --  A teenager in suburban Frankfort could face charges for a video she took in her school's swim locker room.

Will County Sheriff’s office says the 17-year-old could face charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful video recording.

The video was 1-2 seconds long and showed several female students in the locker room fully clothed.  One female had a towel wrapped around her.

The deputy chief doesn’t believe the video has been shared and the principal of the school said it appeared as if the teen had tried to delete the video.

The recording took place back in April and a tip led the principal of the school to tell a school resource officer. Officials recently finished their investigation and charges could be announced next week.

WGN was unable to reach the school district for comment.
