*The Giants are 16-6 since July 10, the best record in MLB during that time.

*Wrigley Field has been anything but a hitter’s paradise for the Chicago Cubs in 2015. The team’s offense at home is the worst in the team’s 100-year history at Wrigley. The Cubs are scoring only 3.25 runs per game and hitting .227 at home.

*The Cubs’ bullpen has piled up an MLB-high 25 wins.

*Buster Posey has to be considered an MVP candidate. He’s one of only two players in the majors with an average of at least .300 and 70-plus RBI.

*Jon Lester’s season has been a roller coaster. April 0-2  6.43 ERA, May 4-1  1.76, June 0-3  5.74,  July 2-2 1.66.
