Two moms sue three suburban towns for sons’ deaths
CHICAGO – Two women in Chicago are suing three suburban towns in the murder of their sons.
Pam Bosley and Annette Nance-Holt both lost their sons to gun violence on the streets of Chicago in the last decade.
They filed a lawsuit last month, claiming their civil rights were violated.
They say the suburban towns of Lyons, Lincolnwood and Riverdale did not adequately regulate gun shops near the Chicago border.
They also argue that the weapons sold are responsible for violence that disproportionately afflicts poor African Americans.
