CHICAGO -- A Chicago woman is speaking out after she says a group of very young boys robbed her on the northwest side.
The 45-year-old Logan Square resident didn't wish to be identified but she tells WGN the suspects were mere boys and are still on the loose.
They approached her from behind last week around 9 p.m. near her own home and brandished a gun. She knew that gun wasn't a toy, so she gave up her cash, her credit cards, keys and her cellphone. Then they ran off.
She said she sensed the suspects’ apprehension. They seemed nervous to her.
Police were called to the 2100 block of N. Spaudling. She says detectives told her this isn't the first time this underage and armed duo may have committed a crime.
