MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis police say that a person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the fatal shooting of a police officer.
Memphis Police Department spokeswoman Karen Rudolph told The Associated Press that a person is in custody but no charges have been filed.
She says the investigation is ongoing and did not give further details.
Police have been searching for a suspect in the killing of Officer Sean Bolton late Saturday during a traffic stop.
