Lollapalooza Day 3: Fest paused but doesn’t miss a beat

CHICAGO – Lollapalooza 2015 official takes its place in history.

The threat of severe weather interrupted the festival Sunday afternoon, but fans and musicians were able to pick up where the left off and the fest resumed.

That is until about four hours later when concerns over weather rose again.

 

Officials monitored weather and moved up set times for remaining acts.

In the end Florence and The Machine, Kygo and Bassenectar closed out Lolla on the main stages.

Officials made the announcement to evacuated Grant Park just after 2:30 p.m. due to severe weather in the area.  Crowds exited the park for about an hour and then were let back in.  Music resumed again around 4 p.m.
