We've seen one extreme to another this summer. From drought and wildfires to heavy rain and flash floods. It leaves many questioning, why this all happens?

NASA has some new images showing what's going on.

Dr. Doug Morton, a climate scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, joined WGN Morning News.
