CHICAGO - It's like a garage sale for the entire city! The City of Chicago is looking to bring in extra revenue ahead of budget season.

So, the office of Mayor Rahm Emanuel wants people to check out the city's auction website.

The page lists items that are no longer used by the city.

Items include a utility truck, old calculators, solar panels, recycling bins, water meters, and dental chairs.

The city estimates the sale will bring in an extra $2-million for the 2016 city budget.

Over the last four years, the sales have generated more than $14 million.

These sales also help the city save on disposal costs.

During the last two years, these sales have saved the city over $200,000 in disposal costs.
