WASHINGTON -- Some critics have called for the White House to revoke comedian Bill Cosby's presidential Medal of Freedom in light of the sexual assault allegations.

On Wednesday, President Obama said there's no precedent for that kind of action, but he did weigh in on the controversy this way:

"If you give a woman -- or a man, for that matter -- without his or her knowledge a drug and then have sex with that person without consent, that's rape."

Cosby has been accused by dozens of women of giving them drugs and then having sex with them.

He has denied the allegations, but did admit under oath that he he did get drugs to give to women that he wanted to have sex with, but Cosby has not been charged with any crime.
