Computer outage cancels 16 Spirit Airlines flights in, out of O’Hare Airport

CHICAGO — Spirit Airlines cancelled 16 flights in and out of Chicago’s O’Hare Airport Wednesday due to a computer outage.

“This morning Spirit Airlines Chicago O’Hare airport operations lost telecommunications network connectivity, disabling all computer and land line telephone operations,” Spirit Airlines spokesman Irisaida Mendez said in a statement.

Mendez said Spirit is reaching out to its customers to alert them of the cancellations. The company hopes to have the issue resolved Wednesday afternoon with flights in and out of Chicago resuming Wednesday evening.

FLT 815 ORD-MSY
FLT 969 BWI-ORD

FLT 357 ORD-LAS
FLT 847 LGA-ORD

FLT 847 ORD-DEN
FLT 761 ORD-MSP
FLT 708 MSP-ORD

FLT 200 IAH-ORD
FLT 595 ORD-IAH

FLT 940 DFW-ORD
FLT 893 ORD-DFW

FLT 854 ORD-LBE
FLT 855 LBE-ORD
