WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Supreme Court has five more rulings to announce in the next several days.
One that could come Friday affects gay marriage.
The justices will decide if same-sex couples have the constitutional right to marry anywhere in the Untied States.
Right now they can in 36 states, but it's illegal in 13 others.
One possible ruling would overturn all state bans and make same-sex marriage legal nationwide.
Another possibility is to allow states to enforce bans if they choose to.
And another possible ruling could uphold state bans, but then require states to recognize gay marriages that are legally performed in other states.
